How Can You Help?

Camp Endobanah is now a recognized charity with the CRA.  If you would like to make a donation please contact us. We issue tax receipts for donations >$25.

We schedule 2 work weekends every year to complete maintenance on the camp and prepare it for the upcoming seasons. These occur on the last weekends in October and April. You will find these dates on our events calendar.

If you would like to attend and volunteer we would be happy to have you. More hands the merrier.

We have launched our fundraising drive to raise money for our Summer Cabin Replacement project. The project entails removing our very old summer cabins and replacing them with new, larger structures that will provide our campers with more comfortable accommodation. The new cabins will be divided in two in order to offer separate sleeping quarters for two families or for campers and counsellors.  Other improvements will include safer bunk beds, ladders and mattresses, more windows and ceiling fans to improve ventilation during hot summer nights, up-to-date electrical work and interior finishes. Along with the generous financial support of our donors like you, we aim to make this project a huge success!

Ever wonder why the Summer Cabins need replacement?  The summer cabins were some of the first structures on camp property. Tent platforms were built in the 1940's to provide accommodation for our campers. Complete with a canvas tent to provide walls and a roof, the cabins were used this way until the 1980's. A renovation was completed then, replacing the canvas with wooden walls and metal roofs. Time has had its toll on the structures and it is time to replace them so we can provide additional comfortable accommodation for our campers!

Where does the money go?

The camp is completely managed and maintained by volunteers, so every penny of your donation goes to the camp.  We raise money to provide regular maintenance on the grounds and buildings. Looking to the future, we hope to invest in larger projects to update the washroom and  bunk cabin sleeping facilities.

"We have rented several camps over the years and Camp Endobanah is the most beautiful by far.  There is a deep sense of peace around the property.  We now enjoy it as our home for our overnight camp and appreciate the heritage and how well maintained it is."
